Select students were invited to a listening session on Tuesday to share their ideas and learn more about the plans for the on-campus stadium. Vice President of Athletics...

No additional parking is pretty wild and the first i've heard of that.

LOVE that they are including a restaurant in the stadium though. Will be big for having people in that area year round

I'm in the focus group now with @CousinRicky and it's been very interesting hearing all of the different opinions on what our supporters would like to see.

Many students highlighted the diversity among USF and the importance of making the community inclusive. Kelly said USF Athletics is also a diverse community and the new stadium allows an opportunity to include everyone.

Who typically gets excluded from stadiums?  UCF people?

I love the idea of using the stadium for away games, but hardly think that will catch on for alumni who can watch it at home. I guess if it's the club section it would be easy to fill up with a regular "bar capacity", and alumni living in the area can watch it on campus versus places like Irish 31.

Other than that, and this may be just me, but students are really stupid. Have a couple of days per semester dedicated to educating about football and sports from other countries? Make it an inclusive stadium? What type of suggestions are those? Sports broke diversity barriers decades before politics did.

Restaurant idea is so dope. Could use it for other venues as well. Do this right the first time and it will bode well. Imagine hosting recruits at the restaurant. You know Gonz would have his hands all over this

I'm waiting for him to say.

There are about 15 people on the call.

You beat me to this. I could say so many things, but I will hold it in, haha.

Have you heard anything different or that you hadn't heard before?

Something I would like to see around the new stadium is a Jim Leavitt statue, or some other way to commemorate USF legends.

We've talked about getting back to being the toughest, most violent people out there. Let's be the best version of ourselves and really get back to the culture of how we (USF) used to step across the line and play anybody. Let's hold on to the culture of when they were tough … and they (opponents) knew it was going to be long damn day for themselves.
