I feel our team should be fine with the schedule below -

The OOC schedule is tougher this year. We get to play a real national championship contender . WKU is about the same as BYU,  Louisville, and the gators last year team being slightly above average. Losing UCF ,Houston, and Cincinnati made the  conference schedules a  softer.

Other than Sean Atkins, the WR room looks like a black hole of unproductive transfers.  Who is gonna catch passes on this team?

We better hope that there is some productivity in the 6 P5 transfers we have. I'll assume at least half can be productive.  Naeim Simmons was a starter on the FCS level. Ph yea let me introduce you to JeyQuan Smith below. He is an incoming Freshman that runs a 4.38 in the 40-yard dash and a 10.55 100-meter in track which is already an Olympic speed. Jimmy Horn runs a 4.38 40yd dash so it's safe to say we replaced some of his speed.

Actually looked him up he ran a 10.39 Terrence Horn ran a best 10.29 so yea I expect we see him on kickoffs this year.

Also think the transfer from Minnesota could be productive here.

His arm was really good for an 18 year old kid. He showed a great display to read the field and throw to second amd third option you don't usually see in young true freshmen quarterbacks. Gb struggled making reads ans had accuracy issues on display. He seems to be a great guy but had one good season in 5 years of college football so far and lost his job once already to a redshirt freshmen. Gb seems like a great guy for the program to mentor the young kids and start if called upon. I could see him just starting against Bama to eat some snaps and let the younger guys not take a beating before conference play.

The quality of competition was markedly different and the coaching changed.  BB is special and may have better touch and vision but GB is bigger stronger and faster and can brutalize opponents on this years schedule.  I think we will see a lot of both of them which normally isn’t a recipe for success but may work in our favor.

Was it really though?  UCF finished better than every team but Tulane... I trust Goach will find hisi guy but there is a big different in TD/INT Ratio and passing accuracy. The game is rushing isn't as big as you think. Gb is more powerful but BB is just was more smooth. I will give benefit to  of the doubt that BB did have an improved coaching staff with the OC calling all the shots on offense and a different head coach.  It is coach's job to find the best guy to win now and in the future.

With the climate going on in NCAA athletics, you’re either moving forward at a hard pace or you’re not. I think what intrigued me the most is they’re very determined to become a big player nationally.

We've talked about getting back to being the toughest, most violent people out there. Let's be the best version of ourselves and really get back to the culture of how we (USF) used to step across the line and play anybody. Let's hold on to the culture of when they were tough … and they (opponents) knew it was going to be long damn day for themselves.
