Nothing wrong with some fun after going hard in the weight room and on the practice field. As long as we don't hear the culture changed before the wins come on the field I call it team bonding. If we hear the culture changed before seeing it on the field we are probably in rough shape. I do like that golesh seems to get that we need to get bigger, faster, and better kn the field . He isn't crowning any fictitious achievements such as a culture change without accomplishing anything.  He is just straight up with his vision . He was part of the turn around at ucif and Tennessee, so he may actually Have an idea how to build up a winner  .

I am serious though. You can't claim to have an achievement  without actual having achievements on the field as a coach.  Any coach that is losing at an alarming rate claiming to have success is a fraud. Golesh seems to be the opposite  but only time will tell. Scott never was apart of rebuilding a team because he was wr coach  under Dabo. Golesh was part of two rebuilds at Tennessee and ucif where the programs moved up when he was there. Now we really have no way to judge or evaluate how much Golesh or Scott were apart  of either of the success at those programs.

Obviously most of us would rather see USF go bowling then go actual bowling. I would love to see the defensive line go bowling through the other teams offensive line more. Bowlingalleys and skating rinks have been disappearing for a while now sadly. It was something I loved doing as a teenager. The only new bowling alleys that I really see are the gentrified bar/club/restaurant ones like Splitsville. There are still a few older bowling rinks hanging out. I know the one in Lakeland and Winter Haven do a lot of business.

Never heard that term before.  Another idea of how old I am. There was a 6 lane bowling alley around the corner from my house. No automatic pin setters. Kids would clear and set the pins manually. Everyone seemed to work there at one time or another. But the place burned down before I was old enough.

When/if someone posts about a culture change before you see it on the field, fire away at that post if you want. Until then, please just :stfu: about culture ....

"You know CousinRicky, one day you'll be old enough to work at the bowling alley, too."

A little feisty, appears repetition is not a redeeming quality in your eyes. I still think the extensions were a good idea in our quest to build consistency.

Well we saw it on the field it went from 3 fbs wins is getting fired to one fbs win gets you extended. If you want to change a culture for the better it has to produce results.

We've talked about getting back to being the toughest, most violent people out there. Let's be the best version of ourselves and really get back to the culture of how we (USF) used to step across the line and play anybody. Let's hold on to the culture of when they were tough … and they (opponents) knew it was going to be long damn day for themselves.
