Every athlete in every sport needs a competent coach.

But we were so close to turning a corner and beating Temple once is extension worthy. I really hope the defense improves under Todd Orlando, the wardaddies gang gets after the qb, and Golesh moves the team forward.

Free td on the deep routes and stop chasing the guy happened often from Hill and a few others last year.  If I was coach if you stop chasing your guy before the td you are getting benched and replaced by some guy that won't give up on a play.

If you are referring to Nick Roberts he transferred out when Scott came and balled out. I think he made a wise choice.

I was thinking of a guy about 10 years or so ago.

It seems that every time I post a new roster, we get a new player, so here goes, but first let's look at our secondary -

1. we have 6 P5 transfers

2. Only 1 player over 200 Ibs...not sure if that's a good or bad thing.

3. Our secondary is pretty old. 12 of the 19 are in their 3rd or 4th year. Hopefully, they are physically and mentally mature enough to step it up.

Thank you as always. This is great . Do you think we will see more 3 4 4 or 3 3 5 sets this year ? I'm hoping for more 3 4 4 to unleash the wardaddies !

I imagine we'll see some of both in the early stages of the season and then more of whichever works better as the season goes on. I trust the current staff to put together a competent gameplan way more than the previous, although in all honesty, that's because the level of trust I had in the previous staff by midseason last year was like negative bajillion

I had Zero trust in Jeff scott after two seasons. I knew he was a fraud after the Tulsa loss in year 2.

@Outlaw I agree with GABulls. Todd Orlando switched it up a lot during the spring game. The defensive line looked a little faster. We finally got rid of all of CCS's deadweight defensive linemen (Except for Yates he was cool). This is a fresh defensive line that has 6 P5 transfers, 2 G6 transfers, and one of the top DE transfers in 2021 D2 football (Jonathan Ross) who was 2nd on the team in sacks last year off the bench.....I had a lot of green and gold Kool-Aid today! I'm ready for us to kick some a$$ this year!
