This is probably the biggest road block outside of BB and Bohanon already being established. Israel Carter may redshirt for a year, but then he probably ends up jumping Gunnar on the depth chart if lives up to the hype at all.

Plus we currently have another QB committed for 2024.

Dequan Stanley in the portal

Golesh sure is freeing up some scholarships. Hopefully to be used in the trenches

Is not just USF. I was shocked to look in portal and see most schools with over 20+ transfers. It definitely has become a huge part of recruiting and building a team.

Demetrius Carter appears to have just entered the Transfer Portal. Didn't he just enroll in January as WR Recruit?

Wow, that was fast!

Transfer Portal is ridiculous!

I thought they should have given this guy a chance. CAG definitely has his favorite players.

Not sure how one can tell he was or wasn't given a chance ........ or how CAG has "favorite" players, whatever that really means.

Reminds me of the olden days when there was whining criticism of CJL not using Mike Ford enough because coach had his "favorites" ......... there's usually some legit reasons for this "favoritism".

Coaches do have favorites.  They may not admit that, but they do.

They're called starters .......... and they're "favorites" for a reason. Coach thinks they give him the best chance to continue his coaching career.

A coaches' favorite players are usually the ones that show themselves in practice; both on field, leadership qualities, attitude,.... They will remain a coaches' favorite until they fail to perform in game. There is usually a positive correlation between how someone shows themselves in practice and in game performance; not always but usually.

We've talked about getting back to being the toughest, most violent people out there. Let's be the best version of ourselves and really get back to the culture of how we (USF) used to step across the line and play anybody. Let's hold on to the culture of when they were tough … and they (opponents) knew it was going to be long damn day for themselves.
