Jhalin Hobbs bulked up to 308 from 291. Definitely an improvement from the last camp. He looks the part now.

I love the war daddy shirts. Lets switch to the 4/3 or 3/4 and show them use them war daddies how  to attack the opposing defense all day Kevin Patrick.

Jason Vaughn (going into his 6th year i think)  mentioned the the coaches are focusing on fundamentals more than anything else. I like hearing that. Also Lloyd made a comment basically saying he thought the defense was bad b4 he got here, but realized that its more of a chemistry issue than talent.

Vaugh and Summerall looks like a good sized college LB for the 3-4 defense instead of  the 3 3 5. Imagine Cheney, Bags, Hobbs, and Williams on the front 3 rotating all game. We would have big boys making space for the blitz and pressure  from outside or inside linebackers. I really don't want to see 5 of our defensive backs on the field ever together again after the last 3 years.

Hate to beat a dead horse with this, but if the previous staff were changing the culture why would there be chemistry issues? Todd Orlando said something similar in that they needed to get closer as a team.

Quotes like this and some others from Golesh make you wonder what the heck the previous staff was doing? Obv not too much, but it makes me feel better about this new staff.

I have replaced and been replaced by various Executives and realize they all will trash the prior regime, that is what they and I do.  I always thought Jeff was trash however let’s see what Alex does before we take what he says as gospel.

Was going to say something similar. We'll find out in about a year and a half if there are different results.

Sure in the business world. Coaching is a smaller group of people who generally don't place blame....unless in unusal circumstances.

Makes sense because in coaching, in a couple of years you may be going to some in that old regime for a job ...
