I'm guessing shooting better from the field than from the ft line will give you a more than decent chance of winning most games ...... especially if we keep the defensive intensity we've had most games.

If you can shoot 60% from the field, yes. Many games come down to FT shooting contests especially when you are trying to hold onto a lead.

So it's not always how many you make, it's when you make them. Both hoops teams had timely ft shooting late in their last game to give them a chance to win, which they did.

That women's game v Ohio State proves you need to make them when you have a chance. Would have been a win.
