USF OCS, dream or reality

If you look at our attendance before the BE, it was low, during the BE, we had really good attendance (yes, winning helped but even during Blackwell’s career, still not great), post BE our attendance is pathetic (even when we were wining 80% of our games with QF). Our students and fan base are apathetic and borderline dislike our athletics program and that’s real. If that is to change, there needs to be a major investment and an OCS is that investment. It impact culture, atmosphere, pride, convenience and tradition. QF’s era is proof enough that winning in the AAC is not enough, there needs to be more and the OCS will help with that and it will help with us getting into a real conference. Winning alone is not enough, just look at the Tampa Bay Rays, they are probably the best example of a consistently winning team in a crap stadium location and crap atmosphere and no fan support.

Winning  is the only way to get a power conference  invite. If we have an ocs and are Winning one fbs in 3 seasons and not going bowling consistently no power conference will even blink their eyes at usf. An ocs will help but winning is more important. We got national coverage and into a power conference by winning before and upsetting the big boys. No one cares if we are getting blown out by temple, Tulane, ecu, byu,Louisville, ND, Nc state, ucf, Tulsa,  and any other team in our own on campusstadium.

Don't hate it at all. Wish it was a bit bigger but would be happy to call it home. Club + shade seats = love. Sign me up. 

EDIT: I do not see football operations center. Maybe not in these renderings, or maybe not in initial design phase?

I like those renderings, very modern looking.  I don't see a difference between Better and Best.  The shade and the seating look the same.  Help an old man out here.
