Golesh is doing a good job recruiting.  I wish we could have hung on to Battie, but otherwise, I really like what he is doing.

He seems to be bringing in talent. The thing about the transfer portal very few of the players become impact players. I am hoping for a much higher return rate then the transfers we saw over the last several years since this madness was unleashed. Keep bringing in as many talented bodies via transfer and recruiting you can get until you build a solid team. We still need two big defensive tackles, some defensive back help safety or corners, maybe a LB or two to replace Bowles and Grier, a few play makers on offense RB/WR/TE, and hope the coaches improve the team by solid coaching. I like what I see so far but we had the "best" transfer class last year for a day or two and we all see how that worked out. I am not expecting anything but improvement from Golesh in year one because he inherited a burning dumpster worse than when CJS took over.  Outside of Byrun Brown, I do not know one stud recruit CJs left. All of the best players under CJS were from Strong for the most part.

That’s because so far only our HS recruiting class is rated and we only have 12 of those.

What rankings are you looking at? Our transfers are not added and neither is our HS class done. For a guy who has been on the job a month, tough to say CAG is doing poorly.

We have 11 transfers and a lot of times the transfers are not included in the rankings correctly.  They just aren't.

Looking at rankings until all the transfers are rated is pointless.
