The only expectation I have for season 1 is to see better coaching,  meaningful improvement throughout the season on both sides of the ball, and fire  and energy by both the players and coaches. I don't have a magic number of wins for season 1. However in season 2 the minimum requirement of success is a bowl game. In season 3 the minimum requirement of success is 8 wins. 

UCONN, WKU, & BAMA all went to bowl games for 2022 season. I see USF going 1-3 in the OOC games. Also I believe FAMU is better than Howard. So that is a tougher OOC schedule imo. I don’t know how the AAC schedule will set up but USF didn’t have tough games against UTSA or UAB in 2022 like they will 2023. Going to be a very tough schedule for USF. And that is coming from a USF fan that is usually optimistic

So basically we just need a brand new set of starters on offense and defense outside of Brown on offense and a few guys on defense like Gordon, Vaugh, Cheney, and Kelley.

Although I believe going bowling this year is kind of a pipe dream to begin with, you're not finding 19-20 players like that in this recruiting cycle. If we're going to show any kind of significant improvement, it's going to take a number of returning players stepping up along with some new blood.
