His senior year in HS he was 311 lbs.  He is freak and an anomoly

Terrell McClain was only 6'2, Bruce Hector was 6'2. Hell Aaron Donald is 6'1.

6'1 is absolutely not too short for a DT

I never said 6'1 is absolutely too short, I honestly love compact guy in the middle as the get better leverage.   Getting from 260 lbs to 310 with good weight is a tough nut .  Donaldson is only at 280 lbs in the NFL.He is also the exception to the rule.  Also if you look at his 247 from his senior year in HS he is listed at 6"2  now NFL roster he is 6"1   Guarantee this new commit is not 6"1 as height and weight is always inflated.

Sounds like the plan is to start him at DE and move him to DT later on if he bulks up right. The Rashawn Yates trajectory. At 260 he could get DE playing time immediately

I'm kind of digging that all the pics taken at RayJay (even if virtual) include their parents and family members.  That's pretty awesome. Is that a normal thing for recruiting and commits at most schools?
