This will be valuable experience down the road...

HE has a bright future as ST and could be a future great HC. Unlike Scott he seems to be very invested in what is going on in the game and shows intensity with emotion on the sidelines. I hope he lands a new gig at hits a homerun there unless it is UCF because I still hope they lose every game.

As long as they didn't lie to him and imply he was staying long term I'm okay with keeping him til after signing day.

Also he can still tout any recruiting accomplishments and professionalism which will help in the next spot.

I have more respect for Golesh now...Da Prato is hot garbage, just like the rest of Jeff Scott's brood.  What NCAA records did they set?...lowest winning percentage...

I wish Da Prato and Trickett success in their next endeavors. They were not the problem and did some good things last year.

Whoever coach Golesh brings in I hope they can keep the momentum going on offense and special teams.

I would been ok with Da Prato being retained special teams were by far most consistent part of team. They were horrible under Strong.  Proably one of the few hires Scott did well. OL coach being the other.

Guessing coach wants to remove all connection to a bad HC so it makes some sense to clean house.

I liked Da Prato and thought he was the best coach for all 3 seasons. Special teams really did improve under him and was solid. Golesh wants to bring in his own guys and ideas while purging the stench of losing off the program. At least he didn't hire his dad to be president of football operations.

It's a business...and he still had a job to do.  If they fired him and missed out on recruits, that wouldn't have been smart.

As long as they didn't lie to him and imply he was staying long term I'm okay with keeping him til after signing day.

If the recruits stayed because of him wouldn't that have been done under the pretense that DDP would be here? Sure, it's just a business but if it was just for that purpose it would be messed up to DDP and the recruits.

We've talked about getting back to being the toughest, most violent people out there. Let's be the best version of ourselves and really get back to the culture of how we (USF) used to step across the line and play anybody. Let's hold on to the culture of when they were tough … and they (opponents) knew it was going to be long damn day for themselves.
