Ok, good. So instead of fixing the defense which gives up 40 pts per game, VPMK figure we amp up our offense to score 42 pts per game. In all seriousness tho, I am going to give this guy my support, he is now in charge of my beloved Bulls football program. BUT, I am not happy with VPMK, and that’s all I’m gonna say about it.

VPMK knows the defense socks. When he fired xCJS he fired Shoop too. I have to think this was an integral part of the interview and I can only wait to hear directly from Coach A how he is thinking about it

Ehh being a top recruiter has a lot to do with the school you’re recruiting for. I could probably be a top recruiter at Alabama, Michigan, Ohio state etc. We just have to out recruit the teams in our crap conference

That's true also...but even at UT he wasn't a good recruiter

I think I figured it out. Lil Mike printed the list out of the Broyles Award finalists then put on a blindfold and threw a dart.

True, but he wasn’t there that long and I’m sure they had lots of others out recruiting. We just need to get better players then the teams we play against.

Kelly made us wait because he was not Kelly's first or second (or third? or fourth?) choice.

Kelly didn't actually make us wait.  This is just the first coach to agree to come to USF.

I can't believe that anybody would actually believe that MK has been making us wait on this hire ....

So is it taboo for a coach to say you want to help kids kick ass and win on the field?  I keep seeing these type of speeches from USF coaches (Scott, DePrado, now this dude) where they all say "raising good men" is the highest calling of a coach.

I'm not saying I want sociopaths on the field...but I don't think Tom Brady's pre Super Bowl speech with the Bucs was about how they all needed to be good men first and football athletes second.

Get what you're saying but they're also recruiting parents ...
