With a much higher fbs win count and proven winner . He is the opposite of Jeff Scott but has a southern accent. Is he the guy for this job who knows? But he did more with much less at Coastal. He also recruited florida. His offense  is made for guys like brown and battie to succeed.

Yes.  Otherwise we are just discriminating based on where they are from or how they talk, which is odd in 2022.  At the same time, also peak 2022ism.

I wouldn’t fault him if he did. However I think it is now a tougher job than USF now that they will be in Big 12. Fan expectations are high after the run Finkel did for Cincy. Was not long ago when Cincy sucked.
