Yes and it is their decision to do so, HBCU’s realize they would have no chance in the playoffs so they have their own championship, it is a nice tradition that they could easily stop but they choose not to.  I would personally like to see Deion in the playoffs and see if his team is more than just the hype.

If Deion takes the CU job, well, God bless him and good luck to him.

I’m convinced it would be the wrong P5 opportunity for him at the wrong time. USF is perfect for him in virtually every way.

The same people who were going to pay Gruden will be there for this hire, so the money will be there. And the CFP is expanding so he’ll have his shot nationally if he does his job. 

Reports that he’s been “offered” are unimpressive to me. We may have “offered” as well, and it just hasn’t been made public. 

We’ll see what happens!
