I'm take it or leave it with DS after thinking it over and watching this unfold. Yes, the excitement and upside is there, but he isn't even here yet and all the reporters are saying they don't buy the smoke and that it could be angling for bigger offers. You have the academy thing. The drama is already at a solid 7 or 8 and he isn't even our coach. But I believe he'd add relevance, swagger, and wins. 

But so might other coaches. All the names I am hearing, I believe we will be fine.

My feeling as well...he have an easier path to playoffs hopefully Kelly is going big on that point.

Seems insane unless he wants the cash. Peddling P5 teams aren't better than equivalent G5 teams.

Me either, who would?   However, Colorado has far more money and paid their just fired coach $3.6 million.

IMO the problem is he isnt looking for Colorado money. He is looking for SEC\FSU money.

If he picks Colorado he is a dead man running. Zero chance he gets kids consistently to that school. It is a has been.

I agree.  He’ll use Colorado money to land the $5 million per year.   If USF will spend that, we better all hold on to our asses.  It will be the biggest gamble of all time.

USF should do it. Big dcik swinging move to show they are serious.

We should be stomping on all these lower P5 schools.

I agree.

 

Florida is a win recruiting for him. He will naturally bring in talent because of his coaching style and personality. 
 

A step up from jackson gets him the big bucks if he turns us around. This is the ticket to a big paycheck. Colorado has no buzz. No glamor. 
 

I say pay him whatever we can to get him. There is no drama. There is only upside!
