Coaching searches are usually very stupid but this has to be the dumbest one ever. In this day and age how could you keep it this under wraps if it was decided at any point prior to 24 hours ago?

You know, people complain at times that we say this and say that when in fact it's a community of people that have diverse views and opinions.  The Bulls Pen does not align its members and swim in same lane.  If you say something I, Trip, Mike, or USF disagrees with you don't get punished.  Watching twitter these days, it is alignment and complete submission to the administration and/or pro-USF on everything.  Do not question, do not complain. It's bizarre.  Right now, like MG, they're coalescing around supporting "whoever", which I consider to be irresponsible.  A subgroup is rallying around Riley as if that will be the selection.

On last and finally check a little while ago, the plane was close to landing in Jackson. All on schedule. He'll be in Boulder before midnight local time. Colorado has a special board meeting set for tomorrow morning.

I gotta say, I'd prefer that our former star players hold the program accountable instead of act as fluffers. That doesn't mean that I want people like Grothe to criticize the process in public, but him saying he will love the hire, regardless of who it is, how is that helping? Who is that helping? What is that helping at this point with our program run through the shredder then tossed into the guttter?

Grothe works for USF, so he has to watch what he says. As whole though former players, the media, etc do not hold the program accountable. The media never asks tough questions.
