Would have been great to call off discussions with DS and watch him melt down like Einhorn/Finkle.  Call him out on his ********.  I would have.

Wasn't Prime interested in the job last opening? We only rejected him so he could get more coaching experience right??? So I assume we couldn't know that he wasn't just as interested in the job as he was before.

Yeah or could be enjoying to stick it to us for passing on him the first time.

I was not really hyped up on Sanders to begin with. Now if he was a USF guy then maybe. Plus the rumors of having to give up full control was a major turn off for me. Homeboy has yet to face tough competition so I was not sold on another hype coach without top 25 wins or bowl wins.

What excited me the most about Deion Sanders would have been his recruitment power. Also the excitement and national attention it would have brought to to the program. I think it would have been fun, and that he would have been successful here.

That would have been cool but reality set in lol. I wish him well. But will always wish USF to do better than everyone else lol

So I spent the whole day working outside, what did I miss?  I just saw Coastal is getting waxed...I guess we dodged a bullet there....

Yes that is basically the biggest take away from today. Hopefully we don’t hire Chadwell lol

We're hoping he's using us to get more money from Liberty?

Recruitment would have been rocketed into another mode IMO.  That said, Prime has yet to really face formidable competition be it veteran coaches or similar quality DI players.  I wasn’t sold on this Prime move either.  It felt a bit like we were chasing ‘lore’ again like we did with x-Antigua or x-Scott.   Victory through association doesn’t work.  How about victory through fundamentals, high quality execution and wildly being detail oriented and instilling this ethic.     No doubt Prime gets set back when he’s forced to play a legitimately talented team.  Let him ride the wave until then. Congrats Prime, now go out and show us your true ‘Taggart’. ;)

We've talked about getting back to being the toughest, most violent people out there. Let's be the best version of ourselves and really get back to the culture of how we (USF) used to step across the line and play anybody. Let's hold on to the culture of when they were tough … and they (opponents) knew it was going to be long damn day for themselves.
