Not be a braggadocios as DS, but I called this out a few days ago.  Of course it was based on publicly available information as well as some "source" information I was provided separately.

I wish MK would have ejected sooner.  I know he was in a tough place, but it was a safe assumption he was getting played.

If MK is too nice of a guy and doesn't have the ability to read people and the situation, then he should not be making these types of decisions. I know that hindsight is 20/20 but this is not the first whiff for MK consulting

This is a huge assumption though. Anyone and everyone knew this was a possibility and so did he.  So we didn't get the Texas guy and this other guy that is crapping the bed in Carolina.  Maybe he has a really good backup plan.

I'm not saying he didn't have to "go for it"...but like any good negotiator he needed to know when he was being abused.  To clumsily use the high school metaphor, you can't keep carrying her books, when she's getting ****** by the other guy - just hoping she'll be yours.
