There absolutely were/are reasons why he would come here.  They may not be better than reasons why he goes to CU, but they are reasons none the less.   And I'm not mad at people be enthusiastic about the prospect of one of the top candidates being pursued (if he was in fact being pursued to the extent it has been reported)

I'm not either.  I'm mad at our administration being dragged along too long and being used.  I know we don't have perfect information, but it sure seemed we were being played from the very beginning.  And then of course the tweet, got all the expectations high and instead my have ended up striking out on not only DS.

Don't worry, I'm over it.  I'm staying at zero expectations.

There's plenty of legit reasons.  many of the same as for going to CU plus some additional that wouldn't apply.  We don't truly know DS' motivations and we don't really know why our admin has dragged it out or whether we are truly striking out.  It's all speculation ... which is fine to have
