I've read all the comments in this thread up to my own. As was reading, I grew with excitement about the possibility of Deion coming to coach USF and change everything..I can compare it to a similar feeling in buying a lottery ticket, the feeling you get before they draw the numbers for the big jackpot..the possibilities, the what if, the life you might have if everything goes your way for once.. I get it, it does feel great to imagine and live in that moment, even if it's only for a short period of time. That's what makes life awesome, your ability and personal freedom to live in that hype moment and hold onto it...but then I remembered, we are USF. We are cursed. We get nothing! We lose! Good day sir!

Added: Also, I hope someone at USF is conveying this to CDS in this same way and I hope Primetime is feeling it and appreciating it. I ultimately see him coaching at his alma mater FSU but I do believe he should take the time to stop off and prove himself as a very good coach at the FBS level, somewhere in FSU's backyard, like USF. He can get some more coaching and recruiting experience at a higher but not the highest level and then have everyone in the country drooling to bring him in...CHA CHING... however, on name recognition alone and his success at Jackson St., he can, if he wants to, convince a needy P5 team to over pay him right now and take the chance that he won't fall on his face in the P5 before he's ready for..wait for it...primetime.

LOL, I refuse to believe any alleged breaking news from a man that glosses himself “Bubba the Love Sponge.” Call it “dignity,” “pride,” or “self-esteem.” Call it whatever you want. Deion may or may not come to USF, but I won’t be hearing it first from that dude.

I’m with you, I am now officially on the Primetime bandwagon. You bring up great points about keeping Florida ties and laying his groundwork here rather than Colorado (for his eventual move to FSU). VPMK just needs to cut the $4-5mil check and be done with it.

I would not call Bubba the needs attention sponge a reliable or relevant source. He is way past his prime and  people playing characters for him doesn't get the ratings it used to.
