Page back a few dozen pages - it was clear that JP was told that occurred by the same source a distinguished member here was told that.  So it might not have happened, but the Deion contact said it did.  Was he acting at Deion's request or not?  We'll likely never know.  Again, we may want to run a few tests, take a few moments to think before committing $25 million.  I know that sounds like a killjoy but something seems more than a little off in this circus.

True, but sports reporters are going to report on gossip.  That's just how it works.  USF just isn't used to being in the ultra bright spotlight lately.
