Was Weaver injured at the end of the season when he disappeared  from the line up? He was not listed in the injury report.

He sat out.

Can’t really look at it that way. I always put USF first ahead of any coach or player. I’m not going to sit here and cry or complain if players or coaches leave USF for what they think are better fits or opportunities for them. As long as the rules allow I’m ok with it. Can’t take it too personal. Go Bulls!!

Not taking it personally but we, as fans, have to realize that most players aren't going to be Bulls for life. Will be more like

So because a player gets a few NIL dollars, lives in a glass house or a person is famous it gives you or anybody to right to become D-bags and insult them? I'm ok with you calling them a quitter, but name calling, personal insults and crapping on their accomplishments is cool? I don't like it at the professional level either.

Not saying it is right or wrong, but a person has the right to call them whatever they want. In the past I may have said "hey they are just kids let them be," but not anymore. Just like the whole kneeling for the flag, They have a right but I will call them a D bag for doing it.

Lol yes true. College sports is going to get even more crazier now with the NIL & 12 team playoff starting. If USF can consistently get that playoff spot we should see tons flow this way.

Yes you have that right too. We all do. That is the beauty of it.

So we can finally shelve "once a Bull, always a Bull" for the rest of eternity? It will now be "once a Bull, always a Bull until more NIL money". It will be hard to find people to put into the USF Athletics Hall of Fame with the direction college sports has taken.

Ab-so-lutely! It's like that antiquated pledge of "until death do you part". That had value, back in 1549 when life expectancy was right around thirty-five years. In the twenty-first century, according to the $3.8K-retainer-fee-for-a-divorce-lawyer's spokesperson, "well, maybe we should have revisited that in light of significant changes over the centuries. You know, things change. Flexibility is the key."

Maybe the game is evolving, not necessarily to our liking, but I'm just not sure we have a vote in the matter. We can post on the board or shake our collective fist at the sky, but college football is moving on - with or without "us".  Instead of "Once A Bull, Always A Bull" maybe we should go with "Once a Bull, potentially, though not etched in stone, always a Bull". If you can change your major, you can change your uniform.

I'm not arguing if a person has that right or not.  My view is for us to be BETTER than that.

I feel the offense got better once Weaver was out for the season. We distributed the ball to more pass catchers and had a better running offense. So trust me when I say it doesn't affect me if he leaves this team. When it comes to USF, I only care about the present and the future.

This is true.

Exactly so no tears from me from a guy that quit on the team and it seems this is something that  future teammates and coaches will inquire about. I wish him the best but he quit on USF while getting a free education and ride at school.

Be happy just seeing us get out of fcs and beating a fbs team.  This program is in a deep hole unfortunately.

We've talked about getting back to being the toughest, most violent people out there. Let's be the best version of ourselves and really get back to the culture of how we (USF) used to step across the line and play anybody. Let's hold on to the culture of when they were tough … and they (opponents) knew it was going to be long damn day for themselves.
