I have no problem with this, he played well, then he couldn’t catch a cold and then he quit.  It is a business, he can move on and we can call him what he is, let’s simply stop calling these guys students or kids, they are neither.

So, he's only giving his heart to the program as long as we win and, eh... not sure I want to play the last couple games? I want to win, you know, with some other team.

Agreed 100%.  This sux.  Entire teams getting gutted by NIL and the portal.  Afraid my time as a fan of college sports is coming to a close.

NIL and the portal will drive a lot of fans away. How are smaller schools ever going to keep their good players?

It's going to come down to winning games and playing time.  There will be schools who have an abundance of money for NIL but if a kid is committed to playing and winning  they will transfer to or stay at their "committed" school.
