I'm not a huge fan of this alleged rivalry, so I may not understand the deep-seated hate it brings out on some.  I think UCF is comprised of a lot of clowns, that's about as far as I can take it.

Actually probably it would make a difference.  I notice that when other players leave and it is not to UCF people tend to just say good luck.

So it's a personal thing?  As I said you have to have that burning inside, a real War on I-4 guy that hates UCF.  I guess I am coming up short in the that category.  I really don't look at them any differently than another school in the state, region, etc.  Again, I'd be pissed if we lost an HC to UCF or UF, because the impact that has on our program, not theirs.  A few our usual insulters have insisted Grier was a bum, no good.  So if that is also true, we should be celebrating him going to the Clowns.

I think the important thing that is being lost with the Grier decision "business is business". Is he actually going to make more money playing for UCF? This is the real problem with the future of recruiting for us. If we can't even compete with the tinmen when it comes to NIL, then we are truly ******.

Some of us hate all those schools in the region LOL.  I probably have a slight soft spot for FSU though because that was pre-USF football existing.  Native FL football fans are weird.

Yes it is a personal thing. They are the only program in the country I have 0 respect for. If he left for any other program I'd be bummed but wouldn't fault him.

I never said he was a bum, I think he was a good player for us and is different from the Timmy McClain situation. He didn't transfer because he felt stuck behind on the depth chart.

Listen I obviously don't wish harm on the guy but if he fails at ucf I won't lose sleep over it.

We agree on a lot.  I don't wish failure on him, but I also don't care now that he is no longer here.

No doubt UCF has a ridiculously juvenile fan base, encouraged by their administration.  I grew up not liking most Florida Gator fans, not because they were low class like UCF but arrogant and typically loudly arrogant in everything (yet many or most UF fans, never stepped foot on UF's campus).
