why would it be a violation? Ewers signed a 3 year NIL with ohio state for $1.4m

I don't believe it actually happened but it wouldn't be a violation if structured properly.

You're talking about boosters paying money to a player and an NIL compensating a player for some type of service.

ok so hypothetically Les Muma paid Bohanon $350k to send out a tweet

it's not difficult to structure this so it doesn't violate any ncaa "rules"

You can't do that to someone not already at the school.  An entity can't offer NIL for someone to come to USF.
