My guess... it doesn't matter. But, winning is waaaay more fun than losing. So, why not kick for someone else that wins football games? If he can drafted from here and go 1-11, why not get drafted from somewhere else and win some games, experience a bowl, etc.?

Kinda a big life decision. Not surprised at all. Being respectful?

Would you rather them say "Screw USF, I'm out. Nobody come here."? Being short about a big decision like this pretty much has the same subtext.

It's pretty obvious. Jesus doesn't want USF to have these players. That's what happens when you fire a BAC.
