Qualifications to take over USF Head Coach Job

If you had to list five, what would they be?  First thing that come to mind?  For me:

1. Previous head coaching experience
2. Proven, known experience recruiting Florida
3. Proven,known ability to develop players
4. Experience identifying talent on the portal
5. A demonstrated undying, contagious competiviteness

That's it, I did it in 45 seconds.  I might need to edit, but that's first pass.  Whatcha got?

Agree with most but i think a dominant scheme in either offensive or defense. He cannot be a let the coordinator make the decision. We need someone who is known for offense or known for defense. I don’t care which but i usually lean more towards offense.

1. Has to be a former player at the collegiate level  
2. Demonstrated success as a HC at some collegiate level; FBS, FCS, Division II 
3. Brings an area of expertise either on offense or defense.  (Prefer offense and hire a solid DC)
4. Knows the Bay and can recruit the Bay.

You do know the school and coach can have NOTHING to do with that?  That's the job of businesses, collectives, fan sites, boosters, etc.

2. Experienced head coach that knows defense wins games.

3. Experienced head coach that can recruit.

4. Some idea of working the NIL

5. Shows ability to recruit quality players.
