This defense isn’t several years away from being decent? We are one of the worst in FBS. This team will not be good on defense next year.

He'll do his due diligence and hire who he thinks will get us to the next level.  Nobody on this board is smarter than he is or better at his job.  Hires are a crapshoot no matter what any "expert" on this board tries to say

as much as I want to keep Weaver, Horn, Battie, TBH we never used guys like Greenwald. We are seeing Brown kill it now. So yes I want them to stay but I also think there is more talent buried/underutilized on this team elsewhere. Like why the F did we never get Gunnar Greenwald involved? Has a TE ever caught a pass under CJS? We had 2 trick plays tonight - none under CJS.

You’re not turning around the worst defense in fbs in one year unless Saban or Deion come and bring us a lot of 4 and 5 star players.
