5 years to turn it around and hand off to someone. That would be one full underclass cycle and another year to set the tone.

I’m down with JL or a enthusiastic big name coach to fire up the fan base and recruit. The transfer portal will make it possible to turnaround the team in 1 offseason.  With UCF, Cincinnati, and Houston leaving, we should be in position to dominate the American until the next realignment.

I feel like if CJL was in the cards, there would be rumblings already, but then again, it is pretty early in the process. Still, I don’t see it happening. Would be pretty cool though if it did.

There is no path to football glory for USF except through CJL.

That's nice except for the fact that we don't know if he wants it and, not to be morbid, he isn't going to live forever.
