He said he misses coaching so not sure he would settle for anything but being a coach

He is 66 years old and is currently out of work (I think). Not sure he has that option.

It would seem entirely likely that he absolutely has that option

No he seems to be in just fine financial shape and he is 66, he has the option of only taking a job that appeals to him and isn’t forced into a false dichotomy where he either has to find a head coaching job immediately or be forced to take whatever position we can conjure up to give him. Doing nothing is oftentimes a fine decision even if some people always feel forced to act for whatever reason.

oh ok. you're right. he can stay retired.

Just thought giving him a position that isn't as demanding but allows him to stay around football might be a good option for both parties.

Hard to bring back the father of USF Football and then tell he can't be around his kids.

Do people that re-marry do that?  Accept the husband back, but he can't see his kids.  Just trying to picture how that works.  No wife is worth it.

I have been a season ticket holder for 15 years. I did not go to a game this year and I am not sure about renewing my football or basketball tickets. If we were to hire Leavitt, I would not only buy again, I would double my donation!

With the climate going on in NCAA athletics, you’re either moving forward at a hard pace or you’re not. I think what intrigued me the most is they’re very determined to become a big player nationally.
