And I just realized I'm quoting myself.  Getting a little worked up about this.  That hire would be the end for me supporting this team.

Im not a Gruden fan even w/o the racist tirade. I believed he won the superbowl with a team coach Dungy put together and developed. He is highly overated 2 me.

I would not love the Gruden hire either, but this stuff about continuing to call his comments racist is ridiculous. Multiple players have said he uses the term 'rubber lips' frequently to talk about someone lying. I have no defense of him on homophobic/misogynist comments though.

My short list consists of Jim Leavitt and Deion Sanders. I have zero doubt the next coach will be neither of them, but one can dream.

he was horrible with nfl rookies.

Offense was pro style which wouldn't work here.

Hard pass on that alone for me.
