I really think the title should be "Realistic Replacements for Jeff Scott".  We're not getting a successful coach.   Think more along the lines of Charlie Strong and Jeff Scott.  We'll end up with another position coach who has no head coaching experience or a retread h/c.  This isn't the great opportunity some seem to think it is.....

Mullen could also be ok maybe...not sure about the type of offense he runs.

Deion Sanders would definitely bring a swagger back this team hasn't had since Taggart.  

Deion, Tom Herman I think be two I'm looking at hard.  Need someone with HC experience not another learn on job situation.

Why would Willie Taggart come back here?  He is already at another FL school in the same league as us.  They will probably start beating us ASAP at this rate.

Would probably be my first two calls. Then Tom Allen and maybe Diaz. Depends on how far down the list you have to go to find someone. But if Herman is interested then you don't need to worry about going below #1 or #2 call depending on whether you call him first or not.

I love that people always shout LEAVITT at any opening for USF. I was a student during his tenure and he was exciting for sure. Where he did get those exciting wins over Auburn, West Virgina, etc. we never won our conference. We always had that horrible end of the year slide etc. I think Leavitt took us as far as he could. That is supported by the fact that he hasn't held a HC position since leaving USF. 

We need to look to the future and stop thinking about how great we had it with that one girl we dated years ago. There are decent candidates and even some great ones out there. I say it's time the school pays the big bucks for a great grab that will turn this program around quick.

Maybe it's good to have one last fling with said girl so then you can move on.
