Chad Morris? He’s already on staff.

I think they should go for Rhule or Mullen. I believe both will win here and build the program back up quickly. They both are free right now and may be able to make a splash in recruiting for December.

. . . Just someone with winning HC experience at a lower level, familiar with FL recruiting experience. IT'S NOT THAT HARD.

I would also add someone who has been through a rebuild or some other turnaround scenario (Ls to Ws) - for me, Frost checks all these boxes

Is anyone familiar with Curt Cignetti? Coaches james madison and has a great overall record.

Someone mentioned his name on reddit and I'm not familiar with him.

Yea I think being program builder is critical.

Frost turned it around, but seems like the UCF fans tend to think it was GOL and Milton that deserve credit.

Top 3 for me are Leavitt, Deion, and Scott Frost.

But honestly, it doesn't matter who they hire at this point.  It would be virtually impossible for anyone to have a worse record or do a worse job than Scott.  They could put a cardboard cutout of Deion on the sideline and have the same record as Jeff Scott.  Anyone they hire is going to do better.

He sure doesn't look like a bad option based on past results

I wouldn’t let the guy who gave CJS  a contract extension pick the next coach.

As I understand it, the extension was in return for taking salary cuts in 2020 & 2021 in place of his asdistants having to take a cut.

Awful nice gesture & his buyout was unchanged.

Nice guy, just bad HC.

Where did you hear this?  It seems plausible and I've said all along that we kind of need to know the details before we can criticize the extensions.

Coaching carousel updates and hot boards on the newest job candidates in college football.

I like this quote from Freeze:

"I don't know that Auburn wants me. I have no clue," Freeze told 247Sports outside Liberty's celebratory locker room. "I know this: I have won everywhere I've been and my staff and kids have turned programs fast. It's our culture that we instill. I know we do that and the proof is in the pudding."
