As many excuses as there are contributing to losses, I just can't see a defense for the poor game and clock management. It hasn't gotten any better. It screams a coaching staff is aloof and disconnected. Definitely not dialed in. That is something which should be optimized no matter what else happens.

Even a peewee coach knows that a 6 minute fourth quarter drive that results in no points, when you are down 3 TDs, is complete and total coaching failure

It’s just not true and horribly lazy reporting, that’s the max severance for any state employee and what is in the contract with USF. There is another contract with the foundation that is for more and is not public, just as it was for CCS and everyone fired here and every other school in the state.

Which is interesting because I know for a fact we are able to finish a drive for no points in a matter of seconds…

No points?  I am pretty sure that our vaunted offense ran a 2 play, 46 second drive against BYU that resulted in 6 points

Exactly, but way to many people only accept the portions of an article that suits their beliefs.

The players are being held back because of poor coaching on both sides of the ball. We need to be more aggressive on offense to start games and the DC needs to get the play calls in faster.
