yeah so many of us are unreasonable

we have seen enough of pj's reasonable qb play

we have seen enough of the reasonable play calling

we have seen enough of how reasonable our teAM IS  prepared for big games

there was nothing about yesterdays game that was reasonable

leavitt wanted to go I say let him

bring in a coach that  has high expectations

I've supported Leavitt and I will still support him.  But no way I keep supporting Rod Smith.  The reverse on 4th and Goal on the sixth?!?!

Let's just say I'll be an active member of firerodsmith.com

You guys are all out of your minds.  CJL is a GREAT coach.  Name another program that has come as far in nine years as South Florida.  You can't, because it has NEVER happened before.  He has done an incredible job, and you don't find great coaches at your local 7-11.  They are rare, when you have one, you do what you can to keep him.

You guys are forgetting that this team is not three deep with four and five star athletes like the Big 3.  You are also forgetting that this team is loaded with Freshmen and Sophmores.  Teams with the talent (lack of) and youth that USF has don't have years as good as the one USF has had this year.  Go look around at some rosters.  I certainly hope you all are better at your jobs then you are at evaluating college football programs.

And, by the way, there is no way in the world Rod Smith calls a reverse on fourth down from the six yard line without Jim Leavitt approving it or maybe even calling it.

You don't build a National Championship team in a few years.  Enjoy the fact that we are going to a bowl game, and hope for a Top 10 finish in three or four years.  Stop whining.

It occurred in smazza's altered state world.  The same one where Kerry won the election. ;)

And remember, the FANS dictate the Football budget.

Our 2004 OC left after the Spring Game, Smith got the job, maybe because of money - fans dictate the budget.

It takes money to get a better OC ... maybe the budget will allow it for 2006.

A promotion of Franks would be great for me also. (I've gone over this scenerio before).

Go BULLS !!!

but also being reasonable.  Unfortunately, we've got a lot of unreasonable fans.

bulls fans are unreasonable because there is NO REASON why we shouldnt have won that game.. but we did, and no matter how much i yell at my television, how fat a check i write to USF boosters, or how many articles of USF football clothing i buy as a fan, it wont change the way they play on the field... the BLAME has to go to someone-- it will go to coach jim leavitt and his "boys".. ie- rod smith, pat julmiste

cee-the problem is fans like usfmikeb and uei accept mediocrity.they write of leavitt like he is a god.

they are satisfied losing to uconn because usf still did better than they thought we would do last august

this type thinking is  an anathema to successful forward thinking people.

we have fans that are happy to get to be playing

and we have fans that want a championship and arent satisfied with just playing

cee-anyone that attacks leavitt and/or the players is unreasonable

this group are the type that know the king has no clothes but will never say it

unfortunately usf athletics has settled in the past/if we settle now the football program will be doomed

We've talked about getting back to being the toughest, most violent people out there. Let's be the best version of ourselves and really get back to the culture of how we (USF) used to step across the line and play anybody. Let's hold on to the culture of when they were tough … and they (opponents) knew it was going to be long damn day for themselves.
