One thing that seems to be happening ... USF is treating this a bit like an pre-season game... a LOT of different players on defense have seen the field.  It's like they are experimenting with different combinations and seeing what some of the backups can do.  A big reason for that is because we have a number of #1 defense injured.

Well... what it could mean is the coaching staff isn't actually trying to do what everyone wants them to do.

If that is the case, it explains a lot of what we're seeing.  It's also a remarkably DUMB approach to the game.

#1 Defense is wishful thinking with these guys. The fact that Boyles is our top LB is embarrassing.
