Nobody could have been able to replace Leavitt's dedication to the program .... but also don't think his firing set the program back decades either. It does appear to have been a setback but it's also conjecture to assume things would have been better had he stayed, we just know they weren't, starting the second year after he left.

Temple played Florida International in the Gasparilla Bowl after the 2017 season ... and USF won at RayJay that season under Coach Strong.

Last year or the two years before last I would be depressed & down on USF. Now I’m finally back up and ready to see this program take off. If it is not Coach Scott that makes it happen then I am confident USF will find someone that will eventually make that happen. And when that happens we will never look back. Go Bulls! March Victorious!

Nope, I’ve been burned way too much to get caught up in the “rah-rah” BS that many on this board are displaying…it’s almost embarrassing to read some of these posts as it is way outside the reality. Hope for 5/6 wins but be ready for less.
