Saw someone mentioning building a sports bar in the stadium. Not sure if anyone's been to Lambeau field in the summer but its setup to be a year round attraction and there's always a decent crowd there hanging out.

https://www.packers.com/lambeau-field/atrium

They have this huge atrium with a hall of fame, pro shop, tour guides, and a big sports bar built into the stadium. Having something like that could be a cool way to get more year-round use of our stadium. Would make more sense than a lazy river anyway

Cool . . . I've been to Green Bay - not much else to do. :) Packers or Bust!

When the Braves built their new Spring Training park down here in North Port, they put in a bar that's open year round. And during the offseason they use the stadium for community movie nights and stuff like that. There are an infinite number of ways to use the stadium for more than just the 6-8 home football games and however many WLAX games a year.

It's been mentioned before, but The Swamp here in Gainesville is open the whole year for fans to come in, students run stairs for exercise, people can sit in seats, and read all the monuments all around. I usually take my family there when they come to visit from out of town for fun. It's actually wild they allow to people to go in, as there are so many crazy individuals in the world nowadays. Surprised no FSU fan has committed some sort of foolishness by now.

Regardless, we should definitely do the same with our stadium. Especially allowing for students to be able to come throughout the year and exercise or come in and chill. That's how you build future cherishing alums and such.

And cricket national champs too!

Too late but, but building the stadium to accommodate cricket would keep the stadium busy in February to April with international matches from England plus short format matches in July/August with the Caribbean Premiere League.

A circular field doesn't fit well in the same footprint as a football field.

You could have removable seating to close up the gap. Put the students there and drown the opponent in constant noise. We could call it the bullring.

Cricket fields are larger anyway.

Cincy Bearcat's stadium(believe the 2nd oldest in America) is in the middle of campus and students walk through and hand out daily also.

Sounds like the stadium will have LED lighting so the green glow continues

With the climate going on in NCAA athletics, you’re either moving forward at a hard pace or you’re not. I think what intrigued me the most is they’re very determined to become a big player nationally.
