TO be fair the way the football team ha been on the field the last four years, I would rather be in the  fantasy lagoon on gameday watching the game on a big screen.

You think our brand looks bad now...just put a lagoon in. Talk about not being serious about football.....

Hard disagree...I don't care what the amenity is that brings people to the stadium as long as they come to the stadium. Whatever it takes to build memories and strengthen the connection to the school...watching none of the game in the lagoon still occurs at the game, which then drives conversation about 'going to the game' which brings casual people into the game which creates the opportunity for something magical to happen and bring more people into the fold. I don't care if they have a petting zoo and a carousel. Whatever it takes. Think Savannah Bananas, not Miami Hurricanes.

We're building the **** thing on the students' front porch partly because they're too ******* lazy most of the time to make a short trip to watch their team play. If they want to go to a water park, Adventure Island is within walking distance or a short Bull Runner ride away.

I hear and understand what you are saying. I’m guessing the drive isn’t the only/main reason young people at USF aren’t interested. Whatever those reasons may be, USF has to look at other ways to capture the hearts and future wallets of students. Not saying this is the correct way to do so.

Wow.  Cup holders and seat backs have now escalated to the need for a lagoon?  SMH.   There’s no lagoons in football.  I don’t want to emulate the Mickey Mouse school.

Can you imagine a year ago arguing whether we should have a bull and a lagoon at our new OCS?! I’m so happy right now!

Like all fads they will die once the newness wears off. A lagoon is impractical.  I have a pool like most of us in here and it sometimes as problems. Just imagine on a large scale having a giant lagoon no one can swim in. One big eye sore.

I get the losing has played a role, that's why I said "partly", but it would be interesting to see what the student attendance was 2015-2018 when we were 35-15. Just getting the games on campus alone should play a big part in capturing those future hearts/wallets without having to resort to tomfoolery like a water park ..... especially considering we're not exactly rolling in money.

With the climate going on in NCAA athletics, you’re either moving forward at a hard pace or you’re not. I think what intrigued me the most is they’re very determined to become a big player nationally.
