If anybody has followed Jeff Scott here at USF you know he talked to Timmy before the offer and likely after the offer.  I would think Timmy and the rest of the quarterback room know where they fit in

The only thing I’m hesitant about is a transfer QB coming in mid stream and having to “ learn a new system “ on the fly. Then there will be those excuses… I want competition but the team need a LEADER at QB and I think that’s where Timmy excels. I’ve said it before QF pounded his chest that this was his team. Need that from our QB, imho.

We need someone who throws more than 5 TD passes in a season a lot more than we need chest pounding. Players are pretty good about figuring out who to follow and it's usually a guy who produces. You've got to give them a reason to follow.

Everyone else will have had at least a 6 month head start learning that new system ...... and not on list but Jarren Williams threw 19td in P5. Transfer qb's are a crapshoot. Personally, I'd roll with with the ones we have, who signed on to build something here. Something's amiss if you had that good of a season last year but then get beaten out by your backup in Spring.

Gerry Bohanon Jr would be a great addition to our QB room for the next 2 seasons.  He has a strong arm, good mobility and was also a good leader.  BU decide to go with the Shapen and they wanted to give him time to find another program.  He would allow Timmy more time to develop.  Timmy has more raw talent, but Bohanon would give us a great chance to win more ball games this season.

Cade Fortin is on track to be the next former Bulls QB to become an NFL draft pick.
