If anybody has followed Jeff Scott here at USF you know he talked to Timmy before the offer and likely after the offer.  I would think Timmy and the rest of the quarterback room know where they fit in

Thx ET-that was interesting and provided some insight into the new guy. Obviously, they aren't familiar with USF except the horrible W-L records. we have been "swimming "upstream" trying to play a freshman QB and have him carry the load. New chapter will be interesting

We wish we had it that bad these past few years.  

The more I watch about Gerry...he is way more athletic than I first thought.  I'm actually pretty excited for this season.

With Gerry "expected" to be our starter . . .

USF Media NEEDS to put together a highlight video of Gerry and plaster over social media and TV to get people excited to get season tix and to get a great crowd in Ray Jay for the Opener against BYU!

I think, like they said, they weren't really looking to add to the young qb room until this opportunity presented itself. Would, though, be interesting to see how this evolved. Not thinking Timmy really regressed but was just wildly inconsistent, which shouldn't be unexpected for a true freshman. Regardless, agree definitely appears to be a major upgrade and hope he serves as an effective bridge to one of the younger ones taking over.
