With GB winning the job and Timmy leaving, who’s #2?  Logic says it’s Marsh but they seem pretty high on BB.

Marsh looked improved in the Spring game...more reps will be a good thing for him and Brown.

Hopefully both get to play 2nd half vs Howard.

How long until Timmy is removed from the depth chart or do we give it a few days to see what happens?

@Gatorbull325 so what is your take on this ? Does Timmy have to sit out  this year because he was not in the transfer portal before the cut off date as the players we wanted to get at DT? If so does he still stay at usf or does he transfer to a new school and practice there while sitting because of transfer portal deadline or play this year because it is his first transfer? I am asking you because you seem to have the most accurate knowledge on the portal madness.

Somebody ssid it elsewhere, he probably has a coach elsewhere in his ear. My take is that will get a private trainer and land in a low end P5, or a G6 school. I wouldnt be suprise to see Taggart take a shot at him. N'Kosi Perry graduates this year. Their other QBs are trash. He cant play this year. So he will have 2 sit. If I was him I would target a school with a graduating QB like FAU.

That is what I thought , why I don't know why he would just wait a few games then ask to be red shirted if he doesn't see a chance to be a starter this year. I mean gerry b could get hurt or fail like some other transfers. I hope neither happens just seems very reactionary and ill advised to transfer out this late and waste a year of coaching training on the field, and off field for free.

I just don't see any positives from him transferring out this late if he has to sit out a year . He will have to pay for private coaching and training.  There is no guarantee he has a job next year anywhere. The other program that is promising him a job could land a stud transfer, stud recruit, and another guy like Gerry B that outworks him in camp with a little more pedigree and proven results. I am sure if he worked his rear off and didn't have a job after playing in four games he could have asked Scott to redshirt him.  He could still workout with the team, learn from a seasoned veteran QB, get reps in practice, get coached and developed, wait incase he got a chance to be  a starter to burn his redshirt, and then seek greener pastures next year without the Bulls.

Seems like a great strategy to me where I see only upsides for 2022 by riding it out, but I am sure we don't know all the dirt behind the scenes or what coaches are in various ears.

Say coach a promises him a job next year, but gets a better transfer QB or a stud 5 star recruit? He is right back to square one transferring out this late.

Yea that been a good plan...get some good game film this year then if you really want to transfer after a month....ask to be redshirted.

All coaches have is last years less than stellar footage to judge him on.
