Would love for them both to be starting quality. I think if we have 8 guys (DE + DT) that are solid and can rotate in/out so we have fresh pass rushers all game we make a bowl game. 

Cautiously optimistic we do, but that would mean our hit rate on transfers is almost perfect

Well we all do that but reality kicks in unless Scott surprises us.

My take is GB is our starter (no contest).  Brown is redshirting unless we have serious injuries.  Timmy #2, no redshirt and Marsh #3.  I see them using Timmy situationally throughout the year.

Assuming Gerry starts, running an occasional WR screen to Timmy where he has the option to take off or stay behind the line and chuck it deep would be so fun

He is too much of a talent to redshirt and will see the field regularly and is not going to simply carry a clipboard.

I'm looking forward to Tricketts' offense. Would love to see two back sets because I think we now have guys with plenty of speed that can catch the ball coming out of the backfield, or shift to a spread and still be successful. I feel like that if the o-line can hold up there's no way defenses can cover the speed.

I think GB will be starter but Timmy will also get plenty of playing time. I’m old enough to remember FSU back in the 70’s going 10-2 playing two QBs. In this day and age a QB can get hurt and you need another to step up. In fact last year both GB and Timmy missed games due to injuries.

Our defense is what we need a big step up, we can’t allow teams to pass and run at will and have a shot at winning many games. If we can hold teams under 30 pts a game, I like our chances

He definitely caught up to his head with the weight gain 🤣 I make this joke, because I had a big head in highschool and being 150Ibs  really made it stand out lol

Agree. In a perfect world, GB starts and leads us to a great year and Marsh being his back up in garbage time.

We RS McClain and the two FR to have some young talent battle for 2023 PT.
