This man just looks like he is ready to lead us to the promise land...or at least respectability.

Ajou and Gerry B strike me as the two that will make the most impact of the offensive transfers.

My updated NT/DT transfer portal wish list. I’ve noticed that the coaching staff is going hard on the recruiting trail for DTs for 2023-2025. Therefore, I think they prefer a 1 and done DT. At least from the offers I saw. With that being said, it is sliiiim pickings for remaining DTs in the transfer portal. I am not sure if there are any  D2, FCS or Juco DTs still available, but we shall see.

1. Chris Thomas Jr. (UF), 6-5, 314-Pound DT from Ft. Myers, FL. Was cut from UF, not sure why, but F-it, lets get him!

2. Jordan "Forklift" Redmond (Virginia), 6-1, 310-pound Defensive Tackle from Kissimmee, FL. (My favorite choice) – (1 year eligibility)

3. Sincere David (Ole Miss), 6-3, 300-pound Defensive Tackle from Jacksonville, FL. (1 year eligibility)

4. Almosse Titi (Maryland), 6-2, 300-pound Defensive Tackle from Tampa, FL.

5. Olivier Charles-Pierre (Houston), 6-1, 340-pound Defensive Tackle from Roswell, NM- Has the size we need for goal line/3rd & 4th down battles. (1 year eligibility)

6. Alexander Skelton (Oregon State), 6ft – 312-pound Defensive Tackle – He played in 27 games, making three starts. Has 21 tackles with half a tackle for loss (1 year eligibility)

Olivier Charles-Pierre sounds enough like Jason Pierre-Paul to me.  Let's get him!

I would take any off that list for this year, but doesn't Thomas have to sit out a year? So him and one more would be lovely. Charles-Pierre sounds like a guy that could have success here already familiar with the conference teams and has experience. Unfortunately he won't ever big to play in the big 12 with Houston.

Starting to seem really unlikely that we get any more big names from the portal given that its mid-July. What say all--can our D-line thrive with current talent?
