I couldn't care less if we never ever hear from any coaches or players. Actions speak louder than words and that's what I primarily focus on...

The kif has wheels, let's hope the new oc tames advantage of his speed and gets him the ball. We really lacked using motion and short routes like slants  and screens to take advantage of our speed under cjs.

Agreed, we have the playmakers we just need to consistently get them the ball in space. Jimmy/Dollison/Battie all have game breaking speed, I remember Taggart used to run a bunch of jet sweeps with Rodney to spread out the D and it'd occasionally break through anyway. Hoping for stuff like that.

With those 3, Weaver + Ajou Ajou for possession receivers, Mangham/Joiner/Powell also in the backfield, and a super senior returning Oline there is zero excuses to not be good this year on O. Timmy, Trickett, and Jeff Scott need to figure it out because we have the potential to be lethal.

Screens have been an omission of USF football for years. I remember this discussion during the CJL days. We certainly need more passing routes to the RBs.

Both Rodney and MVS had 4.4 speed on that jet sweep and NFL talent so it was easier especially with either Mack or DJ in the backfield (NFL talent ).  We simply out talented most teams, we don’t have the same talent but agree we have some and need to utilize these short routes especially with a green QB.

I would not call any of the seniors returning super seniors. They are 5th/6th/7th year players that are taking advantage of the extra years due to covid and good for them. To be called super you need to be near the best at your position in our conference and  across the country. None of them have really developed into anything other than a starter on a really bad team over the last 4-5 years. You can blame it on all of the former and current coaches.  Hopefully some of the seniors returning are late bloomers and  the new OC and DC find  some untapped potential and develop them into SUPER players. CJS and CCS have not did  do them any favors for coaching them into better players. Lets hope the new OC and DC turn them into better players and they get invited to the next stage. Either way I cannot blame them for coming back for a chance to go out on a better season and get another free degree. Now for Jeff Scott, time to put up or shut up with this  coach talk about his success at Clemson and excellence is the standard.  You can't claim excellence is the standard and go 3-18 and expect to be taken seriously. He needs a winning season to be taken seriously.  The time for him to show USF fans and donors he can win is now or never.  BOWLING or bust for him should be the standard.

 .....

The term "super senior" refers to a student who attends a four-year institution (either high school or college) for more than four years. Such students are sometimes called fifth-year seniors, as well.
