2 months does seem like kind of a long time but appears right in line. From FieldTurf site:

As every field is different, every installation is unique. You can expect a new football or soccer artificial turf field to be installed in approximately 60 days from start to finish.

If they work around the clock, it could be ready in 30 days....just saying.

If they work round the clock, shouldn't they have it done in 20 days .....

I was providing a conceptual estimate.  A detailed estimate would have been provided if the turf schedule was agreed upon. :04-cheers:

Will the webcam be going away once Fall camp starts?  After all, we don't want BYU to see what we are doing during practice.

It appears that the camera has stopped updating as of 11:11am today (8/1). I'm not sure if this is a temporary/technical thing or purposeful for the reason you gave. @John Lewismay be able to confirm.

Not sure if this is by design, or not. I can check.

I also saw that some real grass was delivered on the the East side of the building this afternoon. so I am assuming that they are almost ready to start putting that down on the North end and then work their way along the East side of the building.

They are probably also going to replace the grass on the south side of the practice field for when they laid the pipe (water/sewer) going back toward the LRS building.

That has been one of my "look for" moments. I assumed that as soon as they started landscaping the heavy lifting was done. NEXT... How Do You Lay Artificial Turf Indoors?
1. Place Subfloor. Creating a solid subfloor for placement is the first step to building a turf field. ...
2. Plan Turf. Once the turf arrives, it needs to be unrolled to fall back into its original shape. ...
3. Adhere Turf. Next, apply the adhesive to the clean subfloor. ...
4. Add Turf Fill.

With the climate going on in NCAA athletics, you’re either moving forward at a hard pace or you’re not. I think what intrigued me the most is they’re very determined to become a big player nationally.
