They have reached the other end of the IPF on the West side. Still have another couple of support pieces to put in on the East side to reach the South end. They are really moving quickly.

2 months does seem like kind of a long time but appears right in line. From FieldTurf site:

As every field is different, every installation is unique. You can expect a new football or soccer artificial turf field to be installed in approximately 60 days from start to finish.

So, again, why did we wait until the end of the season to start this?  Thought Aug 1 it was supposed to be done. They have worked on this pretty constantly and don't think rain/weather has delayed it by 3 months. So we'll have another season where we lose precious practice time to inclement weather.  Either they knew it wouldn't be ready for this season and wanted to sell it to recruits or someone way underestimated the time it would take (which I doubt).
