Looks like the exterior of our on-campus poultry processing facility is nearing completion!

Someone's been watching rotten on Netflix?

With that size, its a two story processing facility.

The IPF looks like the Oregon's old one built in 1997.  It's the black building on the right with yellow "O" on the side.  The large glass one on the left will be the new one in 2026.  We are not even close to catching up.

The 170,000-square-foot building, funded with private gifts, is expected to open in 2024

1.) Oregon is still in the planning faze for that but lets see how much that costs...took us a while to fundraise a 22m IPF. It would take forever to fundraise a 100m IPF

2.) Ours will still be the nicest in the state of Florida, can't ask for much more than that.

3.) We are in a facilities arms race with the 40th-60th best programs in the country, not the Clemsons/Oregons/Bama's that can do hundred million dollar facility renovations every couple years

So we didn't make the most decadent facility?  That is a silly criticism to me.

I can see where you are coming from but you also do need to remember we are in Florida. We have to worry about heat, cooling the interior, hurricane damage, and more that Oregon doesn't. That much glass would be a nightmare during storm season and the sun would use that glass like a magnifier.

Prime example:

Coming off a 10-6 season, the Dolphins are no longer viewed as a rebuilding...

looks pretty similar to ours because the face similar issues and the team is owned by a real estate mogul billionaire with Baptist Health as a sponsore
