Florida State fired head coach Willie Taggart Sunday afternoon and the internet spin cycle immediately threw out Jeff Scott’s name as a potential replacement. H

The article is from 2019 . . . and shortly afterwards accepts the USF Job.

Jeff Scott wants to be here and build something! Which is great . . . if he can build the team we want.

Keep Donating!

I mean when is he starting to build something ? 1 fbs win is unacceptable.  The defense has gotten worse and the offense really need helps too.  Why are we running a prostyle offense with below average online and wrs? I'd love to make millions and be horrible at my job. Cjs gets one more year because he built this culture and claims we are close to breaking out but I just don't see it.

Jeff Scott better better be thanking his lucky marbles we are building an IPF and announcing an OCS soon. If the fanbase didn't have those to cling to right now things would be even uglier

To show that he's not likely to leave in 5 years if we are a Top 25 team.

People are as loyal as their options and right now he plans to stay for as long as we will have him because he is un-hirable garbage that has nowhere else he could go or even land making even  10th of his current pay.

Of course, he may actually feel he is currently dating a fat chick but right now he is both fat and ugly and is holding on with both hands.  He is one season away from a blow up doll, and a used one at that.

What other team would give a coach with 1 fbs win in two seasons a head coaching job?

Well he is achieving his goal of being a top 25 in building culture while winning 1 fbs game in two years.  We have a culture of losing . We need to look at the problems lack of  financial support from admin, lack of recruiting, lack of player development, lack of schemes being ran to support the players we have, and bad coaching calls costing us games. Only one of the problems isn't his fault and MKS and CJs seem to be working towards improving that. He is 1/5 in improving usf football in  my book and is 1-17 against FBS teams. I just don't see how any one thinks he building something great here. The players gave up on the coaches against Tulane. They got outplayed and out coached. What am I missing that people think we are going to turn a corner and he is all the sudden going to take us bowling and winning big games?
